It may be that you are able to carry out maintenance join your equipment yourself, but if not, you need to find a third party to do it for you. Ideally you need to have something in place to ensure that the equipment is regularly checked and serviced if needed. This may be something that you do on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. If you are using a third party, then again you may want to book them to come out a set times during the year, so you know when they are expected. It may be that they machinery cannot be in use for sometimes when this is carried out, so you will need to find the best day and time when this will be the least disruptive for you.
It may be that you can opt for a service plan which includes set maintenance and possibly some towards repairs too. This can help cut down on huge repair costs that may come out of the blue.
